Featured this week for Ruby Tuesday is a 3D Vistascreen Viewer for viewing pictures in stereo. Vista was a competitor of the more well known Viewmaster system. I have a small collection of both the Vista slides and Viewmaster viewers, reels and albums which you can see below, which I have been collecting for a number of years now.
Why not join in and post a Ruby Tuesday picture yourself, the rules are simple. Just post a picture with red in it, but it must be one of your own and it can be of anything you like. For more details hop over to The Teach at Work of the Poet and check out the blogroll.

Oh my goodness, I had almost forgotten about these. My sister and I had a BIG collection of Viewmaster reels, and later we even got a Viewmaster projector. Great stuff. Thanks for the memory prod.
Interesting post! I used to love the viewmaster back in my school days.
Oh my gosh! I SO remember View Master -- but I never heard of Vista Screen... What neat old toys! And very ruby!
Viewmaster was a getaway for me living out in the country when I was a kid. I loved the 3-D effect and spent hours putting myself in the scenes before me!
Great RT!
I also love your scrapbook page below - beautifully done.
And, I've seen Clarkson's show with that little car - I loved it!
Thanks so much for coming by my RT post and my hugh tomato.
Great collection!! I love old toys, no electronic components!!
Viewmasters! Man, how I loved those things when I was a kid. I can still remember some of my favorite reels, too. Thanks for the blast from the past!
