This is a ladies team of Morris Dancers from the north west of England who specialise in Clog dancing. This traditional form of dancing originated in the cotton mills of the north in the 19th century and is continued by teams of Morris Dancers throughout the country who perform at festivals and events through the summer months. The information leaflet for this team (or side to use the correct term) is HERE.Why not join in and post a Ruby Tuesday picture yourself, the rules are simple. Just post a picture with red in it, but it must be one of your own and it can be of anything you like. For more details hop over to The Teach at Work of the Poet and check out the blogroll.
