New Website for Throw Pillows & Cushions

 Well this week has been a complete write-off when it comes to getting out with the camera. Having had wonderful weather last week well into the 80's here in the UK, it has now gone to torrential monsoon conditions all week, and at the moment we are actually in the middle of Storm Ellen!

So all week I've been working on my personal domain website. I have had had the domain www.charmainezoe.com for many years now, but never really did much with it apart from use it as a personal website. I also had the domain charmainezoe.net, which is the one I used for my art & design activity. I never liked the platform I used for that and a couple of years ago I decided to jettison it. But I kept the .com one going as I felt it had more value.

I've finally decided to make use of it properly and redesigned & revamped it into a dedicated website just for my Throw Pillows & Cushion designs that I sell on Pixels, Redbubble, Society6, FineArtAmerica and Zazzle. This allows me to bring all these designs together in one place and makes it easier for customers to browse through my many & varied designs.

These are mainly kaleidoscopes and fractal abstracts and patterns, but I also have lots of vintage designs I have upcycled from images in old books and magazines. and given them a new lease of life.

Bird Hide from an old Camping Tent

Recently got myself a smart new DSLR camera, a Canon EOS 200D, and have been busy photographing the wildlife in the garden (This is Day 151 of our Lockdown so not much else to photo!) and have set up an improvised bird hide with an old camping tent we used for storage when away on our camping trips. I've set it up with a comfy camping chair & cushion, it even has a side table for my snacks & a drink and on the other side there's even a cool bag to keep my drinks cold. I sit in there for several hours and shoot the birds and local squirrels that come to visit. My hubby thinks it's hilarious!
